This was our first show. I've played so many shows with Defiance, Ohio that playing a show feels almost routine now. Getting ready for this show, whether it was the every-other-day practices, working on the lyrics and slideshow, setting up for the show, and even driving to the show had the nervousness of something new. After playing I fealt so drained, like I could finally just sit still after all the hard work - practicing and thinking. This was the first time Kevey played a show in four years. He has a reputation for being super-nervous, but he did great. After the show, someone said "your drummer is so solid and fast." Someone else complemented his drumming too. I fucked up a lot. He said that he did too, but he seemed to keep it together to me.
